So much has changed over the years- our values, our practices, our thought process and our lookout that we fail to realize how fast the change settles in. It’s all about time, and the fastening pace that acts as the major element of change. Isn’t that the reason Riya got so stuck in her work, that she alienated her family in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna? Today, not only have our lives become tremendously fast and competitive but also more stressful. Our social belongingness is more about interacting on social media than meeting people in person. We might meet our friends too, but it is our family who often has to adjust the most yet gets ignored as we attempt to keep up with our fast paced lives. What we must realize is, to consciously make time for our family! A family that eats together stays together. Stay home and help your mom in the kitchen like both Naina and Aman do. Help dad in office like Rahul helped Yashvardhan Raichand. Protect and support your siblings, like Vijay protected Shiksha in Agneepath. Most importantly, live together as a family, respect the sentiments and beliefs of every member. Do your bit in keeping the family together, just like Maya did with hers in We Are Family and Rohan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Let’s give some time to our family; it would great to know that they are awesome people! ;)
