Romance in different decades!!

The first thought that comes to your head when you hear or read about Bollywood, is romance!! Romance is the true flavor of Bollywood, be it an action movie, comedy movie or a thriller, the movie will always have the tinge of romance to its theme!!
All the great movies, from the black and white days to present day in Bollywood, have romance as their primary theme. Even at Dharma Productions, romance as a theme has done wonders for its audience and the production house.
Movies like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘My Name is Khan’, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, etc. have romance as one of the important aspects of the theme.
Though, with time the method and mentality of romance has changed, the main subject and the idea remains the same. In the 90’s, the Hero would do a grand romantic song to floor the heroine or woo her with a big romantic dialogue which would end up then as a match made in heaven. Romance today has become extremely open ended, with the heroines not hesitating to go on their knees and proposing to their heroes!! No matter what happens, there is one good thing that, Love will always be in the air!! :)
