True Love, more than once?

We have all heard this famous phrase, “If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second.”

Similar is the case of Shanaya, the most popular girl in St. Teresa’s High School, Dehradun. She is faced with the dilemma on choosing between two loves. How did she make the decision?

Loving Yourself = True Happiness

Why is it that girls on the bulkier side are always made fun of throughout their lives? Why is beauty determined by just skin and bones? Is the outer look so strong that you can let the soul inside die a slow death? And that she needs make-up to cover up because, society taught her that who she is, isn’t enough?

Meet Gippi, an adolescent who is fat and bullied by her peers. Through the course of the movie, she learnt to appreciate, and eventually love herself for exactly what she is, and in the process, discovered true happiness!

Friendship - the true measure of riches

Life becomes simple when we have our friends with us always. Friendship means understanding each other's faults & making memories that will last forever. Dostana had the true essence of friendship & it carved a special place in our hearts.  Sameer, Kunal & Neha made us laugh, cry & took us through an unforgettable journey. They shared a bond of love & trust had a special relation to hold & always gave each other a shoulder to cry.

It is rightly said, a man can never be considered rich until he has true friends to rely on!

Best friends + Love = Forever

"Pyaar dosti hai... Agar woh meri sab se achchi dost nahin ban sakti, to main usse kabhi pyaar kar hi nahi sakta... kyunki dosti bina toh pyaar hota hi nahin... Simple, pyaar dosti hai!!!"

Who doesn’t remember this dialogue from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? Rahul, Anjali & Tina, the trio that made us laugh, cry & even made us fall in love.

The friendship & love which Rahul & Anjali shared was timeless. Sharing secrets, playing basketball & fighting with each other was just part of what they did. As the saying goes, true love always finds its way, no matter what. Similarly, Rahul & Anjali found each other in the end, even if it did take 10 years to do so!

Rahul Raichand - The perfect father

A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way. He is our teacher, guide, friend & philosopher.  He is the root of the family which holds the family together.

Amitabh Bachchan is a great example of a perfect father. In Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, he played the role of Yashvardhan Raichand - a father who was fiercely dominating but at the same time he was loving, caring & the pillar of the family. Rahul Raichand & Rohan Raichand was a reflection of Yashvardhan Raichand. He was a great example to his children. He didn't tell them how to live; he lived & let them watch him do it. That’s what a father does.

To be a father is the greatest gift god can ever give... Happy Father’s Day!
