Loving Yourself = True Happiness

Why is it that girls on the bulkier side are always made fun of throughout their lives? Why is beauty determined by just skin and bones? Is the outer look so strong that you can let the soul inside die a slow death? And that she needs make-up to cover up because, society taught her that who she is, isn’t enough?

Meet Gippi, an adolescent who is fat and bullied by her peers. Through the course of the movie, she learnt to appreciate, and eventually love herself for exactly what she is, and in the process, discovered true happiness!

Gippi is a regular Indian teenager who goes to school, fights with her sibling, faces peer pressure, loves donuts, loves dancing, hanging out with friends, etc.
We all have a Gippi in us. All of us want to become popular and be a favorite not only amongst friends but even amongst every person not known to us. All of us have this comfortable space, where we are in our purest forms. This space could be messy, clean, or could even be that one small corner where we are we and no one else barges in there.
