Dostana – do you still chuckle when you see this movie?

Do you laugh your heart out when you see the cute and lovely gay couple - Sameer & Kunal. Or do you skip a heart bit when you see the desi girl, Neha? Or just love the hopelessly complicated and funny lives of the three besties? Yes, we know it’s difficult for you to choose one amongst them!

It is crazy how Sameer and Kunal acted like they were gay just to rent Neha’s apartment. And if that was not enough, the lie continued in front of Neha’s boss –‘M’ aka Murli, the officer at the passport office and Sameer’s mother too! Phewww… Well, Sameer & Kunal take everyone on a ride!

But, between all the madness, there was a true relation that touched our heart chords…

It was the bond that Neha, Sameer & Kunal shared, who would make you laugh with every joke that they crack and you will drop a tear for every time they are sad.

Even in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Rhea & Rishi found solace in talking to each other about their lives & finding viable solutions for the same. Strangers, sometimes, help you see things from a completely different perspective, making you realize that there can be more than one standard way of dealing with issues.

Head v/s Heart

Making decisions isn't easy... Especially when your head tells you something, and your heart something else. A moment, when you know exactly what should be done- what's morally right & what's best for everyone around you. But how is it that, even the simplest of decisions land up taking forever?

Why do we always contemplate over making a choice & picking a side, in spite of being fully aware of the consequence? That's when the matter of the heart kicks in.When an inexplicable feeling crawls into your stomach & holds you back & that little voice in your head that tells you to do what makes YOU happy!

In Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna too, Dev & Maya were torn when it came to choosing between family & love. But they landed up making decisions that in the long run would have a positive impact on everyone around them! After all, the heart wants what the heart wants :)

Foot Tapping Desi Girl song from Dostana!!

Catchy songs and beautiful music have always been a key ingredient in Dharma movies. The “Desi Girl” track from Dostana which became a chartbuster was a hot number that played from night clubs to car systems. The song was perfect blend of desi and videsi tadka. Priyanka Chopra added her own style with all her latkas and jhatkas, while our desi boy’s John and Abhishek complimented her perfectly. Desi Girl was another magical number out of Vishal and Shekhar’s kitty that made everyone sway to the groovy music. 

Dostana - a beautiful journey of Friendship

The time spent with friends is the best time of life. That is exactly what Neha, Kunal and Sam loved doing. They  had a bond of love, a medal of trust, a shoulder in sorrow, a special relation to hold, this was the magic of their friendship. They were funny, caring and crazy and we fell in love with them. Dostana was a mixed bag of emotions which made us laugh and cry.  Desi Girl, Sexy Sam and Handsome Hunk Kunal indulged us into the an unforgettable journey of Friendship :)

Sam & Kunal did a lot to get into Neha's apartment & become room mates with her. Their 'gay' act did make this successful for them! But it wasn't all that simple. Happy Birthday Abhishek Bachchan

The adorable Rishi Talwar in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna & the witty Sameer in Dostana, Abhishek Bachchan has played his best in both the movies. Be it the friend in need, Sam or the over-loving husband , Rishi, Abhishek has played his roles effortlessly. Today, on the occasion of his birthday, we take this opportunity to wish him lots of love! Happy Birthday Abhishek! Hope you have a year full of joy & success! :) 

Sameer & Kunal's encounter

Sameer and Kunal met for the first time at a ‘friend’s’ place where they had a stay-over during ‘time of crisis’. Poor Sameer who had just joined a hospital as a nurse and Kunal, who was a fashion photographer, were unable to find a home for themselves. They met again while they were on a house-hunt. Coincidentally, they both loved the house! Little did they know that this ‘accidental meeting’ would make them lie about things which are nowhere close to being real and make them friends for life! Watch this video and laugh your head off.
