Old is Gold

Whenever we speak about Dharma Movies one of the first movies that comes to your mind is Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, made in 1998 directed by Karan Johar this movie touched millions of heart and we are proud to be associated with it. We love when we hear our fans talk great things about Dharma Movies.

But more happier moments are when movies released a decade back still get praises from today's generation after watching it. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was telecasted at a local channel in Asia and it trended worldwide on a micro-blogging site called 'Twitter' :) The same activity was repeated when My Name is Khan was telecasted in London and it trended for more than an hour!

Thank you everyone for loving our movies even after so long. Another Dharma Movie that is coming on your home screen in India, is the recently released Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu on 13th May, 2012 at 12pm and repeat at 8pm - Sony TV. Hope it will continue to spread the magic like our other movies.

Rohit Shetty joins hand with Karan Johar!

It is such a pleasure to announce that there has been another addition in Dharma Productions and this time it is not how it has been lately.. Hearing new names but an established Bollywood film maker Rohit Shetty! Both of them come from a different background and make completely different movies. So if you are wondering how did this work out for both of them- it's pretty simple. Both of them are passionate about movies. They both also have abundance of knowledge and experience in film making.

After reading all this, it will be interesting to watch how the movie will turn out to be. No work has started as Rohit has some commitments to finish and once that’s done, they will start the work on Dharma's movie and the cast out. They will make the big announcement as soon as they will come together and everything is finalized.

It is great to have Rohit Shetty with us and hope awesome news like this one, keeps coming in! 

Happy 14th Anniversary - DUPLICATE

Dharma Productions making movies since 1976 has come a long way! But we cannot leave behind the old movies who started off with us at the beginning of this incredible journey :)

Today, one of our old classics was made which fans still remember today as 'Shukriya... Meherbaani... Karam!' yes, you are right, it is Duplicate! Completing 14 years Duplicate is one of the most loved film of this generation. It is great to see when our fans praises our old movies as well.

We are proud to be associated with a movie like 'Duplicate' which gives us not one but two Shahrukh Khan in one frame :) the glamour is added by two other beauties - Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre. The movie was a success and still creates a riot of laughter when people are watching it.

Hope our upcoming movies are also remembered the same way after years to come! Thank you for supporting Dharma Movies all the way!!!

It's all about Sid

Dharma Productions wants to make sure that their fans apart from getting the latest updates on Dharma Movies are also having a great time being a part of Dharma!

Our awesome fans who are associated with us through Facebook and Twitter give us tonnes of reason to smile everyday and when they are doing this how can we be behind? To make them feel special we just think of excuses to give them exclusive Dharma Goodies :) Today, like our many excuses we came up with an interesting and fun - filled contest called 'Sid's Life Story - Contest'. The fans had to give a wacky tagline to 'Wake Up Sid' and the one whose taglines stand out from the rest wins.

The response was just amazing! Loved the fans enthusiasm with over 100 replies but sadly winner can be one... :( But don't worry more interesting contest will come up soon!

Dharma Productins established in 1976 by (Late) Yash Johar, has produced more than 20 selective and outstanding movies till date. Known for experimenting with movies Dharma Productions has managed to create a reputation in the industry which is irreplaceable.

After doing the great work, Yash Ji's talented son Karan Johar in 2004 took over the business and Dharma Productions has just climbed up in terms of success by God's Grace. Today, the CEO of Dharma is Apoorva Mehta and we have come a long way... 

During this splendid journey Dharma has gained fans whom we are glad to have and every fan has a different way to express their feeling for Dharma Movies and people associated with Dharma Productions. Karan Johar who is loved by millions for his talent and movies, has a great fan followinng and recently we received this awesome gesture from a fan who made quite an effort for Karan Johar and he really like it :)

Coming back home :)

Student of the Year is going smoothly with shooting schedule taking place on time, the cast & crew are doing a great job at executing this movie in to a wonderful story. This is just in, after all the hard work and fun in Thailand the cast & crew are coming back to India. Today, their shooting in the beautiful place Thailand gets over and they will soon head back to their respective homes.

The 5th directorial movie of Karan Johar, this movie is sure to create a blast on 19th October, 2012 in a theatre near you. Starring the newbies for the first time is another reason and third is ________ No, no for that you will have to wait a little longer :)
