Pillars of Dharma Productions and much more!

Karan Johar has introduced several young talents to the film industry! The directors of Dharma are the pillars of Dharma Productions. With more than 9 new faces doing their directorial debut with Dharma Prodcutions, Karan has surely made these young talents dream come true.

Starting with Karan Johar himself who did his directorial debut with 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' at the age of 25! Then the next in line is Nikhil Advani who directed the heartfelt 'Kal Ho Na Ho' and the list continues as follows:

Kaal - Soham Shah
Dostana - Tarun Mansukhani
Wake Up Sid - Ayan Mukherji
Kurbaan - Rensil D'silva
I Hate Luv Storys  -Punit Malhotra
We Are Family - Siddharth Malhotra
Agneepath - Karan Malhotra
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu  - Shakun Batra

The above are the gems who have made Dharma Productions what it is today! Yet again, after so many years we get to witness the work of Karan in Student of the Year who is feeling more like a teacher on the sets! "The joy of directing newcomers!!! Their acting innocence can never be replaced...am enjoying playing part director part teacher!!!" Wonder what other roles does a director play?

Dharma Director’s Journal

When watching the movie, do you look at the technicalities used in making that film? Do you think that director is the soul behind making the movie? If your answer is yes, then this one is for you!

Just like you, many people say that directors play an important role in the film in many ways; he is the Backbone of the film, Caption of the ship, Hero, Co-ordinator and so on. When talk about Dharma history, we have launched a total of 9 directors under our banner – Nikhil Advani, Soham Shah, Tarun Mansukhani, Rensil D’Silva, Siddharth Malhotra, Ayan Mukherji, Punit Malhotra, recently launched Karan Malhotra and Shakun Batra which no other productions house has done.

At the same time, Karan is extremely proud of his talents saying, “At Dharma, we have already introduced nine directors. We are extremely proud of their films.”But it doesn’t end here, Karan plans to continue this practice by launching new talents in his upcoming Dharma Movies – “Taking the train of thought further, we plan to expand our production base and launch many more first time filmmakers in the immediate future."

One of them whom we know of is Akshay Roy who is directing Ekta and Karan’s upcoming production film. And more are on their way! We will reveal them soon J

Pre – review of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu - Bollywood Hunagama

EMAET is doing wonders before the release; already creating buzz around as Bollywood Hunagama released the Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu Review today!

According to Bollywood Hungama, for all those who are a big fan of romantic movies, this picture is like a Valentine gift for them. It is very normal first you become friends, fall in love and then get married but hey! What if you marry someone by mistake? Two adults fall into this trap which changes their life for forever and that’s the essence of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.

A lot of controversy has surrounded this movie by being compared to What Happens In Las Vegas,  but the difference is Rahul is a guy who doesn’t take his own decisions and only thinks about fulfilling his parents expectations and then Riana who believes in living life to the fullest enters and turns his life upside, down! Imagine now!

To add more to it, it is important to know that Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is nothing what we have seen before in Indian Films, the debutant Director Shakun Batra with a fresh vision has showcased many things for us to experience for the first time. BH talks about the story of the movie and how it is different from other movie scripts we usually see in Bollywood.

The praises don’t end here as the art direction of the movie is also well appreciated by BH. Las Vegas is a location used for the shoot which makes is even more exciting to watch the movie. This is also because the location has not been used in Bollywood movies prior to this. This is the reason why this is a typical west side Love Story.

Overall, they have praised each part of the film starting from the story, direction, songs to performance! They also mentioned that the climax of the film is something unexpected and that’s what makes this movie a must watch!

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu Review looks great and the reaponse for the online ticket booking is over whelming! To book you’re Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu Tickets, kindly click here: http://www.facebook.com/EkMainAurEkkTu?sk=app_119984194791371
