An exciting year for Dharma.

After the blockbuster success of ‘Agneepath’ released on 26th January, 2012 crossing 25 Cr on the box office opening. It created history in the film industry with such high numbers! Even after all the controversy of comparing the New Agneepath with the Old one, audiences seemed to love the performance of every actor especially Hrithik and Rishi Kapoor. Also, Kancha was titled as the most dangerous villain of hindi cinema. For all these reasons and more the start of 2012 was incredible for Karan and his production house – Dharma!

Well the twist is that for the first time Dharma is releasing it’s another movie ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ just two weeks of ‘Agneepath’ a bold step for Dharma but it’s working for their advantage. The success of Agneepath has grown the expectations of audience from Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu releasing on 10th February, this love flick movie starring Imran and Kareena is completely different from the genre of Agneepath and the fact that it is releasing just before Valentine is a good step from Karan and the occasion absolutely goes with the theme of the film. A good step, indeed.

Not only this, this is also the first time when Dharma is releasing more than 2 films in a year. Student of the year is already in news with the selection of a complete new star cast by Karan which has never happened before. Mostly, releasing in the month of May SOTY starring David Dhavan son – Varun Dhavan along with Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra is creating hype in media and people are looking forward for the promotion to start and know more about this upcoming movie.

After Agneepath, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and Student Of The Year there is one more surprise waiting in store for Dharma fans! Unofficially the news has come out that Ayaan Mukherji’s next directorial movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ might just also release this year under Dharma Banner.

With so many events taking place with Dharma Productions this year, it will be very exciting to see the outcome of all the movies by Dharma at the end of the year.
